1.Does the BTR3 support idle time power off?
A: Yes, it supports idle time power off for saving power. When it's connected to other devices via Bluetooth, it will enter standby mode if no music playing. When it's not paired with other device via Bluetooth, it will power off automatically after 2 minutes.
2. How to pair the smart phone with BTR3?
A: 1. Unlock your smart phone and turn on Bluetooth; 2. BTR3 is in pairing mode which means the blue and red lights flashing alternately.
To enter pairing mode:
a. After powered on for the first time: the BTR3 would automatically enter the pairing mode, and the red and blue lights will flash alternately.
b. Force the BTR3 to enter Pairing mode: Hold the button A for about 5 seconds when the device is on, and the red and blue lights will flash alternately.
3. Then the BTR3 will appear on the list of Bluetooth device of the phone, and just click it to pair with the BTR3.
3. Can the BTR3 work as a DAC for the computer, and how?
A: Yes, the BTR3 can work as a DAC for the computer.
Auto mode: Power on the BTR3, and connect it to the computer, then select it as the audio output device to play music; the white light will stay steadily on; Manual mode: Power on the BTR3, and connect it to the computer, then quickly press the Power button for 3 times; then white light will stay steadily on.
4. How to reset BTR3?
A: When the BTR3 is frozen, please try to hold the Power button for at least 10 seconds to reset the BTR3.
5. How to get BTR3 displaying in FiiO Music app?
A: Here is steps to get BTR3 displaying in FiiO Music app: 1. The BTR3 is required to upgrade to the latest version 1.0 (v1030): and FiiO Music app should be also updated to latest version 1.0.4 firstly. 2. Please go to FiiO Music app Setting to set "HWA" to OFF, after it is updated to v1.0.4. (At present, the BTR3 is not comptiable with HWA well. The BTR3 option would not appear if the HWA was ON.) 3. After connecting the BTR3 with your smart phone via Bluetooth, "FiiO BTR3" option will display in FiiO Music app Settings, just like the one on Picture 1. You could see all the BTR3's settings as shown on Picture 2 after tapping "FiiO BTR3" option.
